Responsibilities

This position leads & directs the work of the team to correctly package and store the plastic role products and to maintain productivity in the packaging department. The Packaging Lead directs the team in all aspects of packaging and storing finished rolls into the HK System or manual warehouse

• Understands and resolves system errors related to SAP, WMS, and Stock master
• Adjust and correct problem labels
• Redirect the workforce to accommodate changing requirements
• Plan & organize the correct packing materials
• Interface with production to meet changing requirements
• Interface with maintenance to secure timely repair of equipment
• Interface with MIS for any system problems
• Research any inventory discrepancies for root cause and correction
• Provide training, OTJ/Safety/6s as required in the packaging department
• Maintain a safe/clean work environment
• All other duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned by department management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Comply with background check
• Comply with Drug/Alcohol Test
• Must have a record of good attendance with previous employers and a recent outstanding work history

Job Details

• Day Shift: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 03:30 PM - 12:00 PM
• Night Shift: 11:30 PM - 08:00 PM
