Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Major Functions:
- Validate customer quality issues and assign corrective actions.
- Develop and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Investigate root causes of in-process or customer concerns.
- Track and maintain the status of daily customer issues.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct periodic inspections as per the schedule or as needed.
- Ensure proper inspection techniques are applied to enhance part reliability.
- Oversee destruct reporting and monitor result statuses.
- Train quality inspectors in alignment with the annual training plan.
- Schedule and conduct quality audits or quality conference meetings.
- Communicate effectively with department team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address and report customer concerns to relevant departments or team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation as outlined in procedures.
- Manage and calibrate measuring instruments.
- Develop and implement Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
- Analyze quality performance metrics, including quality cost matrices.
- Update quality information boards, quality alerts, and engineering change orders.
- Monitor suppliers and perform Supplier Process Audits (SPA) based on the audit schedule.
- Issue nonconformance reports, claims, and other reports to suppliers.
- Follow up on supplier and customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Monitor engineering-level modifications to parts.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949 standards and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement a periodic inspection schedule for suppliers and perform inspections.
- Conduct Statistical Process Control (SPC) based on control plans or annual schedules.
- Prepare and validate corrective action reports from relevant departments and suppliers.
- Develop and validate countermeasure plans for customer concerns.
- Initiate and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in process improvement.
- Proficiency in Windows Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CAD.
- Strong supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
